| "Topkick" Topkick does over 20 tricks, including: smiling, counting, covering up with a blanket, drinking from a bottle, and bowing down. He has entertained at a variety of events: The World Buckskin Show, in Columbia, Missouri; The Little Britches Celebrity Golf Tournament and Rodeo, benefit for needy children, in Colorado Springs, Colorado; The Solid Gold Futurity, and The International Livestock Exposition, in Springfield, Illinois; The Mississippi Horse Fair, in Jackson, Mississippi; and Equitana, the World All Breed Equestrian Show, in Louisville, Kentucky. Western Horseman featured Topkick in three issues, along with a two-part article on "How To Teach Tricks". AQHA'S America's Horse followed by highlighting Topkick with his owner Tom Hennigh, in HORSE PEOPLE. Skip Topkick was featured in a commercial for a local Ford dealership, and another for the 'Rural King' stores. He's appeared in rodeos, fairs, grand openings, and special events all over the United States. He's famous all right! He's been ridden by James Drury, "The Virginian", and by the kids favorite, Ronald McDonald. |
